I remember how she taught me

how to exist on my own

I remember how he lifted me up

when I was feeling down

how she held my hand

when I was reaching for answers

how he walked with me

when I was heading in circles

how she lent me a shoulder when

I only needed to cry

Important minds

I never go anywhere without
